Machine and plant training

For operating most machines and plant in the wood industry it is recommended that you achieve LANTRA or NPTC awards for each piece of machinery you will be operating.

Employers have a legal duty in health and safety law to ensure that workers have achieved Certificates of Competence in the areas of work for which they will be employed.

Most of the training courses last between 1 and 6 days and may include an extra day for assessment.
