Tree-claim Enterprise
was a project designed to allow people to try out and develop wood working
skills who may be interested in developing a career in a wood based industry.
The project incorporated a sustainable ethic as all the wood sourced by
the project was recycled or reclaimed. It encouraged participants of the
project to work on designs according to what materials are available in
the locality, therefore encouraging the individual to promote their imagination
and design potential.

Funding ceased for the Tree-claim Enterprise Project in June 2007. Between 2005 and June 2007 the project provided employment enhancing opportunities
for unskilled, jobless people in East Cornwall. A number of participants started their own businesses or moved into employment through the work of the project. All the participants received valuable training and experience in a number of wood related trades.
